The BA (Sociology) programme examines society, culture, social institutions, and human behaviour at the collective level. Students study classical and contemporary sociological theories, caste, gender, religion, urbanisation, and development. The programme encourages critical thinking about social inequality, identity, and change — preparing students for careers in social work, development sector, journalism, research, civil services, and NGO management.

10+2 (any stream) with minimum 45% marks
