Our Commitment

MS Digital University adopts a transparent and student-friendly fee-refund framework that fully complies with the UGC (Refund of Fees and Non-Retention of Original Certificates) Regulations, 2024. Refunds are processed without harassment and within defined timelines.

How to Apply for a Refund

1

Submit Online Refund Request

Login to the Student Portal → Fees → 'Apply for Refund'. Attach admission letter, fee receipt, and reason for withdrawal.

2

Verification by Accounts

The Accounts Office verifies your records and the applicable slab within 3 working days.

3

Approval by Registrar

After accounts clearance the file moves to the Registrar's office for final approval — typically within 5 working days.

4

Refund Credited

Approved refunds are credited to the original payment instrument within 7 working days. You will receive an SMS / email confirmation with the UTR number.

Mode of Refund

Approved refunds are credited to the original payment instrument used by the student. For card and net-banking payments, the refund is reversed to the same source. For NEFT/RTGS or UPI payments, the refund is credited to the originating bank account. Cash refunds are not permitted.

In line with UGC norms, original certificates submitted at the time of admission are never retained by the university and are returned to the student upon withdrawal.

Important

Refund timelines run from the date of approval, not the date of application. If the original payment instrument is no longer active, refunds are issued via NEFT to the bank account registered in the student profile after KYC verification. For disputes, escalate to the Student Grievance Redressal Cell.
